Mrs. Clair Y. Brooks, age 87, of Buford, GA passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2013.

She is survived by her husband of thirty-seven years, Leajar A. Brooks, Buford, GA; children, Claire and Michael Wilkinson, Buford, GA, Mike and Penny Yancey, Lawrenceville, GA, Vicky and Carter Wilson, Buford, GA, Michael and Claudia Brooks, Buford, GA and Sam and Elaine Brooks, Loganville, GA; twelve grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Geneva and Bill Conley, Tifton, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Helen Lyon, Hahira, GA; sisters-in-law, Lois Brooks Crowe, McDonough, GA, Lucille Brooks Clark, Douglasville, GA and Lula Brooks Roebuck, Loganville, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Brooks was born October 29, 1925 in Ty Ty, GA. She was a 1942 graduate of Tifton High School in Tifton, GA. She was a retired realtor from Harry Norman Co. and Adair for many years. She was a member of the Atlanta Board of Realtors and a member of the Million Dollar Round Table with Harry Norman Co. She was a member of Tifton Primitive Baptist Church in Tifton, GA and attended First Baptist Church of Buford.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Dr. Richard A. Hunter officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA.
