George Byron Hanes, Jr

George Byron Hanes, Jr., age 68 of Sautee, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2013 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Graveside services are scheduled for Sunday, April 14, 2013 at 2:30 pm in Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 14, 2013 from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Hanes was born December 22, 1944 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late George Byron Hanes, Sr. and Mary Kenimer Hanes. He was employed with Ace Hardware as a Salesman.

Mr. Hanes is survived by his wife, Sandra Hanes of Sautee, son, Brock Hanes of Cumming, sister, Ann Haney Yeates of Gainesville, nephew & wife, Michael & Cecilia Yeates of Wimberly, Texas, great nephew, Lance Yeates of Wimberly, Texas and great niece, Ciera Lancaster of Wimberly, Texas.
