Mildred Thompson Brown

Mrs. Mildred Thompson Brown, 90, of Flowery Branch died Thursday April 11, 2013 at Peachtree Plantation.

A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mrs. Brown was the daughter of the late James and Pauline Buffington Thompson. She was retired from Crystal Farms where she worked as a accountant. Mrs. Brown was a member of the Chestnut Mountain Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law; Jimmy and Linda Brown, Chestnut Mountain; daughters and sons-in-law; Connie and David Jackson, Gainesville; Susan and Benny Bagwell, Chestnut Mountain; sister, Wilma Hanes, Gainesville. Five grandchildren and Ten great grandchildren also survive.

Mrs. Brown is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Conley Brown and a grandson, Joseph Scott Bagwell.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday April 14, 2013 in the Little & Davenport Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jeff Benefield will officiate. Interment will follow in the Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday April 14, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.
