Wilma (Lackey) McEver

Wilma (Lackey) McEver, age 65, of Winder, GA, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, devoted Christian passed away on April 8, 2013.

Born to William and Eunice Lacky on March 4, 1948. She married J. C. McEver on June 11, 1967. She impacted the lives of many women struggling with breast cancer after her own courageous fight with breast cancer in 2007. She has been called home to receive her heavenly treasures. Her cooking will be missed by many.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years J. C., her son Eric (Tracy) McEver of Willmar, Minnesota and special friends Billy and Amy Butler of Winder, Georgia. She is also survived by her grandchildren Lauren and Ethan McEver, Bryson Butler and many relatives and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at the Midway Christian Church, Winder, Georgia.
