Sammuel Thomas Cooke

Mr. Sammuel Thomas Cooke, age 48, of Commerce, GA died Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Athens Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Cooke was born at Ft. McPherson to the late Philip R. and Sue Tallant Cooke.

He was a member of Rogers Baptist Church and was employed at Roper Pump Company.

Mr. Cooke is survived by his wife, Sandy Whitsel Cooke of Commerce; son, J.T. Whitsel of Commerce; brother, Alan Cooke of Commerce; sisters, Dianne Vaughn of Homer, Anna Porter and Phyllis Cooke both of Commerce; and granddaughter, Katelynn Whitsel of Commerce.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Monday, April 8 graveside at Rogers Baptist Church with Rev. Carlton Peters officiating.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday night from 5 to 8 PM.
