William Alton Forrester

Mr. William Alton Forrester, 77, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.



A lifetime resident of Hall County, he loved gardening and his dog Stumpy who was his pride and joy. He was a member of Oakwood United Methodist Church.



He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Elaine Forrester of Oakwood; sons and daughters and law, Jarred and Eilis Forrester of Athens, Patrick and Chasity Forrester of Oakwood, grandchildren, Emory and Olive Forrester and Carson Forrester; sister, Hazel Oliver and numerous nieces and nephews.



In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by 9 siblings.



Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 7, 2013 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Rev. Glenn Parrish will officiate. Interment will follow in Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home on Friday April 5, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, April 6, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
