Curtis William Martin

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mr. Curtis William Martin, age 74 of Demorest. Mr. Williams passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2103.

Mr. Martin was born Danville, Virginia on November 16, 1938 to the late Howard Martin and Hattie Chitwood Martin. He served with honor in the United States Army and retired from Fieldale Corporation where he was employed in the Maintenance Department. In addition to his parents, Mr. Martin is preceded in death by his son, Phillip A. Martin and brothers Charles Martin and Clifford Martin.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Chitwood Martin of Demorest; daughter and son in law, Donna and Glen Nix, Demorest; son, David Martin, Baldwin; step son, Stewart Joseph Watts, Demorest; sisters,Marie Jones of Cornelia, Susie Bell Norton of Clarkesville and Frances Knight of Cornelia; brothers, Robert Martin of Gainesville, Jack Martin of Cornelia and Lewis Martin of Clarkesville. Mr. Martin is also survived by his 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
