Margie Louise Hendrix

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mrs. Margie Louise Hendrix, age 84 of Dahlonega. Mrs. Hendrix passed away Sunday, March 31, 2013.

Funeral services are scheduled for 12:00 Noon, Saturday, April 6, 2013 from Murrayville Congregational Holiness Church with Rev. Mike Gaines and Rev. Robert Garrett officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Hendrix was born on February 5, 1929 in Decatur, Alabama to the late Walter Shelton and Synthia Hair Shelton. She retired from Mar-Jac Poultry and was a longtime member of Murrayville Congregational Holiness Church. Mrs. Hendrix is preceded in death by her sister Earline Kalaward.

Survivors include her sons, Charles Adkins, Apopka, Fl., Michael Adkins, Gainesville, Patrick Adkins, Snellville; brother, David Shelton as well as 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren

The family will receive friends at Murrayville Congregational Holiness Church on Friday, April 5, 2013 from 6 to 8 pm.
