Mrs. Gertrude Taylor Davis, age 94, of Buford, GA passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bill Ramey; second husband, Ralph K. Davis; son, Ernest David Ramey; grandson, David Wayne Ramey; brother, Bill Taylor; sister, Edna T. Fraser; and sister-in-law, Evelyn J. Taylor.
She is survived by five grandchildren, Kathy Bradford, Jane Ramey, Mike Ramey, Patricia Holliday and Jody Rogers; ten great grandchildren; twenty-nine great great-grandchildren; and ten great great great-grandchildren; brother, James L. Taylor, Buford, GA; sisters-in-law, Geneva Chatham Taylor, Sugar Hill, GA and Ruth Roebuck Davis, Buford, GA; brother-in-law, W. A. Fraser, Flowery Branch, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mrs. Davis was born January 26, 1919 in Suwanee, GA. She received her education at Old Suwanee School. She retired from Falcon Inn in Suwanee after eighteen years of service. She was a member of Sugar Hill Baptist Church in Sugar Hill, GA.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Pentecostal Church of Buford with Pastor Tim Copeland officiating. Interment will follow at Sugar Hill Cemetery in Sugar Hill, GA
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
