Stacy Lee Jenkins

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Stacy Lee Jenkins, 34, of Maysville, GA, who passed away Thursday, March 28, 2013.

Mr. Jenkins was born in Savannah, GA, son of Jack Jenkins Sr. and Judy Thigpen Jenkins of Rincon, GA. Mr. Jenkins was the Water Services Manager with the Jackson County Water Authority for several years. He was a member of Grove Level Baptist Church in Maysville, GA. Stacy loved the Lord and loved his family. There was no place he would rather be than with his family camping and boating.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 4:00pm at Grove Level Baptist Church, 1702 Grove Level Road Maysville, GA 30558, with Rev. Jeff Appling, Rev. John Wood, and Rev. Buddy Thigpen officiating. The family will receive friends at Grove Level preceding the funeral beginning at 1:00pm. Funeral services will also be held at Rincon Baptist Temple, 305 Weisenbaker Road, Rincon, GA 31326, on Monday, April 1, 2013 at 4:00 PM. The Rev. Thomas Terry and Rev. Joe Springer will be officiating, and the family will receive friends at the church beginning at 2:00pm. Interment will follow at Effingham Memorial Gardens.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, Martha Hope Jenkins, Maysville, GA, children, Maddie and Wyatt Jenkins, Maysville, GA, sisters, Mandi Jenkins, Rincon, GA and Tammie English, Rincon, GA, brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Amy Jenkins, Rincon, GA, maternal grandmother Betty Jo Thigpen, Rincon, GA and a number of other relatives. Mr. Jenkins was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lamar and Ruby Murray, maternal grandfather, Rudolph Thigpen, and niece Ellie Brooke Jenkins.
