Bonnie Denise Kimbrell Salazar

Bonnie Denise Kimbrell Salazar, age 48 of Gainesville and formerly of Cornelia, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2013, at Northeast Georgia Medical Medical Center.

Born December 15, 1964, in Habersham County, she was the daughter of Shelby Jean Galloway Kimbrell of Clarkesville and the late Wilkie Winston Kimbrell. Mrs. Salazar was an animal enthusiast who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her father, Mrs. Salazar was also preceded in death by her sisters, Angela Marie Kimbrell, Jackie Lynn Kimbrell and Fonda Leola Kimbrell Hubbard.

Survivors include daughter, Santana Phuong Truong and fiancé, Desi Ramos both of Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Khamsouk, Jr. "Sam" and Nanci Nifong of Gainesville; brother, Tommy Kimbrell of Eastanollee; sister, Teresa Hopkins of Clarkesville; granddaughter, Khailea Lynn Ward and a grandson expected in June.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, April 07, 2013, at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 404 Washington St. NW, Gainesville, GA 30501.
