Bedell Clark Dumas

Mrs. Bedell Clark Dumas, 88, of Gainesville, GA passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2013.

She was a beloved wife, homemaker, and skilled seamstress. Born in Hall County on May 15, 1924, she was the daughter of the late John and Josie Roberds Clark. She had lived in Syracuse, NY from 1947 until 2000, and after the passing of her husband Johnnie Dumas, she returned to Hall County.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Herman Clark, Bell Martin, Inez Elrod, Jewrell Clark, and 2 infant siblings.

She is survived by her brothers, Carlton Clark and John Clark Jr. of Gainesville, GA and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2013 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Rev. Heyward Clark will officiate. Interment will follow in Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Little & Davenport Funeral Home on Friday, March 29, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
