Graveside memorial services for Maudie Ree McEntire Sisk, age 83, of Clarkesville will be held on Monday, March 25, 2013 at 6:30 PM from the Clarkesville Memorial Cemetery with Mike Free officiating.
Mrs. Sisk died Thursday, March 21, 2013.
Born in the Habersham Mills community on April 18, 1929, Mrs. Sisk was the daughter of the late Richard O. and Maddie Bell Allen McEntire. Mrs. Sisk worked in textiles at Habersham Mill and Clarkesville Garment. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. In addition to her parents Mrs. Sisk is preceded in death by her husband Hubert Sisk, stepdaughter Margaret Sisk Miles and stepson Lamar Sisk, and brothers Roy McEntire and Bobby M. McEntire.
Survivors include sister in law Emma Jarrard McEntire, nephews Jeff, Alan, John, Ricky, and Tommy McEntire, nieces Katlin and Alex McEntire, stepchildren Sandra Miles Free and husband Mike, Steve Miles, step grandchildren Hali Jarrard, Jennifer Tyler and Sara Free, and step great grandchildren Dane Tyler, Glori Tyler, and Kenli Jarrard.
