Sara "Sally" Sullivan Boone

Sara "Sally" Sullivan Boone of Buford, GA passed away peacefully March 23, 2013.

She was preceded in death by her parents Sara Ellen Sullivan Davis and Harry Moseley Sullivan and step-father, Henry Davis.

She is survived by a daughter, Christy Shulstad and her husband Brian of Cumming, GA; a daughter, Laurie Dahlgaard and her husband Chris of Sarasota, FL; a son Joe Boone and his wife Shawna of Gainesville, GA; as well as five grandchildren: Will, Lauren, and Abby Shulstad and Christian and Bennett Dahlgaard. She is also survived by a brother, Harry Sullivan and his wife Amelia of Chattanooga, TN; a niece, Janine Sullivan nephews, Tripp and Jeff Sullivan and their families; a step-brother, Edwin Davis and his wife Marjorie of Travelers Rest, SC and their families.

Sally was born February 13, 1947 in Waynesville, NC. She was a graduate of Waynesville High School and Western Carolina University. She was a dedicated teacher at Woodward Academy North in Duluth, GA for 19 years. Sally was a dedicated daughter, mother, sister, and teacher and will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Services will be held, Monday March 25, 2013 at 5:30 pm at Flanigan Funeral Home, S. Lee Street Buford, GA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
