Ann Appleby Jarrett

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Ann Appleby Jarrett, age 91, of Jefferson, who passed away on March 22, 2013. Mrs. Jarrett was born in Jefferson, GA, the daughter of the late George Douglass Appleby and the late Annie Stockton Appleby. Mrs. Jarrett was a graduate of the Martin Institute, attended West Georgia College and graduated from the University of Georgia. She was a former School Teacher, a Homemaker and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Jefferson. Mrs. Jarrett was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Marshall Jarrett.



Survivors include her daughter Angie Jarrett (Byron) Smith, Barrington, IL, son Harold (Beth) Jarrett, Jefferson, daughter, Ceil Jarrett, Berkeley Lake, GA, and 4 grandchildren; Amanda Smith, Bradley Smith, Hal Jarrett and Charlie Jarrett.



A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2013 from 2-4pm at Evans Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Jefferson.
