Jerry Dean Nelson

Mr. Jerry Dean Nelson, age 68, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on Friday, March 22, 2013.

He is survived by his wife of twenty-nine years, June Williams Nelson, Lawrenceville, GA; children, Dana and Brian Murphy, Flowery Branch, GA and Jason and Debra Owen, Buford, GA; grandchildren, Emily Owen, Luke Houston, Jessica Houston, Cameron Murphy, Jayden Murphy, Abigail Owen and William Owen; twin sister, Jean Airington, Providence, RI; and niece, Sarah Airington, San Jose, CA.

Mr. Nelson was born May 24, 1944 in Austin, MN. He was a 1962 graduate of Austin High School and a 1968 graduate of Brown Technical Institute. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He was retired from Electric Machinery in Minneapolis, MN after forty years of service and was a member of the IEEE.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 25, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday afternoon from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
