Callie Mae Cain

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 pm. Monday March 25, 2013 in the Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. Callie Mae "Butch" Cain age 86 of Gainesville. The Rev. Katie Lancaster will officiate. Interment will follow in Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00p.m to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Cain passed away Friday March 22 following an extended illness.

Mrs. Cain was born in Hall County to the late William Arthur Whitehead and Minnie Clark Whitehead. She had worked for Cornett Carpets and was a member of Free Chapel Worship Center. She was preceded in death by her Husband William Dennis Cain, Brother Curtis Whitehead, and Sister Gladys Payton.

Survivors include Daughters, Gloria Tate, Pendergrass, Geraldine Tiller, Lula, 5 Grandchildren, 10 Great-Grandchildren, 2 Step-Great Grandchildren and a number of other relatives.
