James Thomas Lee

James Thomas Lee, 75, of Dahlonega, went home to be with the Lord on March 20, 2013. A devoted and loving husband and father, Mr. Lee will be missed by many.



Mr. Lee was born on July 30, 1937 to the late James Bert Lee and Ader McKenzie Lee. He was the owner of a logging and timber business.



Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Mason & Ward Funeral Home, with Rev. James Kanaday officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Baptist church cemetery, Homer, GA. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 22, 2013 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.



Mr. Lee is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary Ruth Voyles Lee; Daughters and sons-in-law, Glenda & Harold Shadburn of Jefferson, Gail & Mark Loggins of Dahlonega, Janie & Ricky Cleghorn and Carol & Danny Brown, all of Gainesville; Daughter, Connie Lee of Gainesville; Son & Daughter-in-law, Mike & Angelena Lee of Dahlonega; 18 Grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; Mother-in-law, Eva Voyles of Jefferson; Brothers, Roy Junior Lee of Pendergrass, Herbert Lee of Forster, KY; Sister, Georgia McClure of Gainesville. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.
