Gloria Bennett

Gloria Bennett, 54, of Gainesville passed away Friday March 15, 2013 at her residence following a sudden illness.

Born January 20, 1959 in Haverty Grass, Maryland, she had been living here for the past five years. A homemaker at her death, Gloria was preceded in death by her father, Gilbert Thomas.

Surviving are her children, Joshua and Patricia Pike, Colorado Springs, CO, Camille and Christian Allen, Dawsonville; companion, Charles "Chuck" Wilson, Gainesville; mother, Hazel Thomas, Cumming; sister, Carol Thomas, Dawsonville; brothers, Charles Thomas, Dahlonega, Allen Thomas, Cumming, Larry Thomas, Gainesville; grandchildren, Hazel Fears, Hailie Fears, Jean Pike; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Memorial services will be held Friday March 22, 2013 at 2 o'clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Don Allen will officiate.

The family will receive friends Friday from 12 noon until the service hour at the funeral home.
