Maryann Hafner

Maryann Hafner, age 59, of Braselton, GA passed away on Monday, March 18, 2013.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Mary Bertele; and brother, Joseph Bertele.

She is survived by her husband of forty years, Donald J. Hafner, Braselton, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jean and Donald Bennett, Medina, OH and Carole and Richard Blake, Akron, OH; brother, James Bertele, Akron, OH; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Barbara Hafner, Copley, OH, John and Debbie Hafner, Akron, OH; Edward Hafner, Clayton, GA, James and Wendy Hafner, Akron, OH and David Hafner, Buford, GA; sisters-in-law, Sister Theresa Hafner, C.S.J., Cleveland, OH and Jo Hafner, Cuyahoga Falls, OH; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Hafner was born June 23, 1953 in Akron, OH. She was a 1971 graduate of St. Vincent High School in Akron, OH and a 1981 graduate of the University of Akron, OH where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. She retired form QAD, Inc. She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Flowery Branch, GA. "Her smile was a gift from God that she gave to everyone she met."

Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Father Eric Hill serving as Celebrant.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the Memorial Mass.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Prince of Peace Catholic Church, St. Vincent De Paul Society, 6439 Spout Springs Road, Flowery Branch, GA 30542 in memory of Maryann Hafner.
