Rev. Robert (Bob) Allan Hill, Sr.,

Rev. Robert (Bob) Allan Hill, Sr., age 85, of Homer, GA died Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Hill was born in Atlanta, GA to the late Fred Gordon and Mae Henderson Hill. He was a member of Webbs Creek Baptist Church. Rev. Hill graduated from Boys High School, Bob Jones University and Southern Seminary. Rev. Hill pastored at Webbs Creek Baptist, Homer Baptist, Duluth First Baptist, Millville Baptist, Kenwood Baptist, Sand Spring Baptist in Lawrenceburg, KY, Cedar Creek Baptist and Louisville Baptist. In addition to his parents, Rev. Hill was preceded in death by his sister, Marion Hill.

Rev. Hill is survived by his wife, Marguerite Hovis Hill of Homer; daughter, Margaret Hill McCall of Homer; sons, Robert Allan Hill, Jr. of Louisville, KY and John Gordon Hill of Roanoke, VA; grandchildren, Natalie Hill-Miller, Weston Hill, Lauren McCall, John McCall, Micah McCall, Adam Hill and Megan Hill; and great-grandchildren, Harrison Hill-Miller and Jackson Hill-Miller.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Saturday, March 23 at Webbs Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Stacey Phillips and Rev. Wade Lott officiating. Interment will follow in Hill Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday night from 6 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to International Mission Board SBC.
