Mrs. Pearlie Mae Young, age 85, of Buford, GA passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2013.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Young. She is survived by her children, Charlie, Jr. and Rosamary Young, Buford, GA, Mary Alice Young, Buford, GA, Martha Young, Buford, GA, Patricia Thomas, Buford, GA, Gerald Young, Buford, GA, Rev. Elvira and John Henry Rogers, Suwanee, GA, Jonathan Young, Winder, GA and Glenna Young, Buford, GA; fourteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mrs. Johnnie Daniel, Buford, GA and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Young was born September 26, 1927 in Buford, GA. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Union Baptist Church in Buford, GA.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Union Baptist Church with Dr. Kary Harris officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
