Vonna McClung

Ms. Vonna McClung, age 53, of Marietta, GA died Sunday, March 17, 2013 at her mother's home in Commerce, GA after an extended illness. She was born in Champaign, IL, the daughter of Betty McDuffie McClung and the late Johnnie McClung. Vonna was employed at Cobb County Water Authority, Marietta, GA, for 12 ½ years as Business Service Coordinator. Vonna was a beloved daughter, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed, but who is in Heaven with her dad.

Survivors include her mother, Betty McDuffie McClung, Commerce; one brother, Norm McClung, Acworth; one sister, Donna (Susie) Bowers, Commerce; niece, Leanne Samples (Will); and one great-niece, Madison Faith Samples.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Wednesday, March 20 at Gillsville Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Calhoun, Mr. Glenn Page and Mr. Chuck Byrge officiating. Interment will follow in Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday night from 6 to 8 PM.
