Beverly Jean Almond

Beverly Jean Almond, 77, of Gainesville passed away Saturday March 16, 2013 at her residence following a extended illness.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday March 19, 2013 at 1:00 pm from the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Stacy Phillips and Rev. Clack Stubbs officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 6pm-8pm at the funeral home.

Ms. Almond was born November 23, 1935 in Bryson City NC to the late Rufus and Mamie Shook. She was retired from Wal-Mart and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Denise and Rev. Tim Millwood of Warner Robins, granddaughter and husband Jessica Millwood-Augsburger and Matthew Augsburger, grandson Austin Millwood, grandson Micah Millwood, and great grandchild Asher Matthew Augsburger, sister Marie Green (Steve) of Leicester NC, sister Carolyn Greene (Wayne) of Arden NC, sister Lillian Hipps (Paul) of Arden NC, sister Margaret Breedlove (Thad) of Gastonia NC, sister Virgie Mae DeHart of Bryson City NC.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA 30504 is in charge of arrangements.
