Mrs. Brenda Wilkins Reed, age 64, of Buford, GA passed away Friday, March 15, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Reed, Sr.; parents, Ray and Montine (Cofer) Wilkins; and son, Jimmy Ray Samples.
She is survived by her son, James "Bubba" Reed and Dana Lashley, Buford, GA; sisters and brothers in law, Betty and Rev. L. C. Bennett, Cumming, GA and Vicky and Kenneth Jenkins, Buford, GA; brother, and sister in law, Michael and Sue Wilkins, Buford, GA; aunts and uncle, Mary (Cofer) Adams, Buford, GA and Joann (Cofer) Sargent and husband Brady, Buford, GA; ten nieces and nephews; several great nieces, great nephews and cousins; and several sisters in law and brothers in law.
Mrs. Reed was born October 1, 1948 in Buford, GA. She was a 1967 graduate of North Gwinnett High School and was retired from Georgia Art and Lighting in Lawrenceville, GA. She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church in Buford, GA.
Funeral service will held on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Akin officiating.
Interment will follow at Riverside Baptist Church Cemetery in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
