Annie Lou Manley

Mrs. Annie Lou Manley, age 89, of Jefferson, GA died peacefully in her sleep curled up in her favorite chair on Wednesday, March 13, 2013.

Mrs. Manley was born in Commerce to the late Ardell and Ethel Howington Anthony. She was loved by everybody and a mother to many people throughout her life. Mrs. Manley always took care of others when she was able and always read her bible. Mrs. Manley was retired from Chandlers Pharmacy in Atlanta as a pharmacy technician. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Manley was preceded in death by her son, Anthony Manley and grandson, Nick Jones.

Mrs. Manley is survived by her daughter, Brenda Manley of Mims, FL; grandson, Garrett Shockley; great-grandchildren, London Jones and Sienna Jones; niece, Dianne Manley Fornear of Titusville, FL; great nieces, Misty Wilson, Cristy Hornsby, and Jessica Manley; great nephew, Kevin Manley.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Saturday, March 16 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Ivester officiating. Interment will follow in Cabin Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from noon until 2 PM.
