Grace Maddox Cornett

Mrs. Grace Maddox Cornett, 95 of Hoschton died Tuesday March 12, 2013 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

A lifelong resident of Jackson County, Mrs. Cornett was the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Janie Mae Cronic Maddox. She was retired from the Pfizer Drug Company where she worked as the switchboard operator for a number of years.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law; Jim and Janet Cornett, Bobby and Linda Cornett, grandchildren, Jimmy Cornett, Jr., Dawn Satterfield, Mary Beth and Andy Alexander, Robert Cornett, Jr., and Sarahlyn Cornett, Steven Cornett, all of Gainesville; great grandchildren, Grace Blythe Cornett, Dalton and Dillon Satterfield, Naomi, Norah, Graham Cornett, Cash and Davis Alexander, Jean Cornett, mother of Jimmy Jr., and Dawn, all of Gainesville.

Mrs. Cornett is preceded in death by her husband, Mack Spence Cornett.

Celebration of life services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday March 15, 2013 in the Little & Davenport Funeral Home Chapel. Robert Cornett, Jr., will officiate. Interment will be in the Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home after the services.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to Children's Hospital of Atlanta, Eagle Ranch or one's favorite charity in memory of Mrs. Cornett.
