Talmadge "Doc" Sosebee

Mr. Talmadge 'Doc" Sosebee, age 79 of Dahlonega, Ga. passed away Tuesday March 5, 2013.

He was a lifelong resident of Lumpkin County and was of the Christian faith.

Mr. Talmadge was the son late of late Oscar Sosebee and M. Elizabeth Sullens Sosebee. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, J.A. Sosebee, Ray Sosebee, Jeff Sosebee, Loy Sosebee. Sisters, Eva Lou Childers, Eula Lingerfelt, Odell Barrett and Ola Ledford.

Talmadge is survived by stepsons, James A. Sullens, Dahlonega, Ga. Lester Sullens, Toccoa, Ga. Stepdaughters, Mattie White, Luthersville, Ga. Louise Johnson, Lucille Garrison and Hazel Heavrin all of Dahlonega, Ga. Sister-in-law, Lucille Sosebee, Dahlonega, Ga. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2PM Friday March 8, 2013 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonga, Ga.

Rev. Junior Evans and Larry Lingerfelt will officiate.

Interment will follow in Saint Paul United Methodist Church Cemetery in Lumpkin county.

The family will receive friends from 5pm until 9pm on Wednesday March 6, 2013, all day on Thursday March 7, 2013 and from 10am until the time of the service on Friday March 8, 2013 at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, Ga.
