Thelma Bloodworth Jones

Thelma Bloodworth Jones, age 83 of Baldwin, passed away Tuesday, March 05, 2013, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born in Jackson County on April 28, 1929, she was a daughter of the late William Elmer and Daisy Gee Bloodworth. Mrs. Jones was retired as a cashier with K-Way for 25 years and was of the Methodist faith. In her spare time she enjoyed watching TV, working with outdoor plants and going to the beach.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jones was also preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Maxie Jones; son, Stanley Jones; daughter, Yvonne Westmoreland; brother, Thomas Bloodworth; an infant brother; sisters, Mattie Horne and Ruth Parr.

Survivors include son & daughter-in-law, Steve and Tracy Jones of Flowery Branch; daughter, Sheila Boling of Baldwin; brother, Clifford Bloodworth of Hampton, GA; sister, Alma Porter of Maysville; grandchildren, Kerry Westmoreland, Andrea Schuman, Marcia Byrnes, Marcus Jones and Ashley Vandiver; eight great grandchildren.

A memorial visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, March 07, 2013 from 11 am until 2 pm.
