Ms. Geraldine Duncan Nichols, age 80, of Buford, GA passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Lavada Jones; and sister, Gladys Thomas. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Sue and Leonard Williams, Sugar Hill, GA, Linda and Bill Garner, Tupelo, MS, and Phyliss and Bill Nabeel Al-Ayyah, Lawrenceville, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Lewis and Gennie Duncan, Auburn, GA; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; sister, Louise Thomas, Jasper, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Ms. Nichols was born April 25, 1932 and was a native of Hall County, GA. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Old Suwanee Baptist Church in Buford, GA. She was an avid gardener and flower gardens.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Arthur Southerland and Rev. Harold Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
