William Cecil Roberts

William Cecil Roberts, age 76 of Gainesville, passed away Friday, March 01, 2013 at his family's residence.


Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, March 3, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Reverend Scott Poole officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 2, 2013 from 6:00-9:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mr. Roberts was born on October 18, 1936 in Hall County, GA to the late Jack and Annie Mae Head Roberts. He was a retired logger and was a member of Free Chapel Worship Center. Mr. Roberts was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Dwight Roberts.

Mr. Roberts is survived by his son, Doug Roberts of New Holland; daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Darrell Johnson of Braselton; son, Randy Roberts of Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Madoka Roberts of Lawrenceville; sister, Norene Parker of Gainesville; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Randy Mathis of Gainesville; sister and brother-in-law, Maudine and Jimmy Breedan of Clermont; brother and sister-in-law, Jack ad Debra Roberts of Clarkesville; grandchildren, Kristy Smith, Brittany Roberts and Brandi Roberts.
