Mrs. Shelby Jean Samples Suggs, age 75, of Dacula, GA passed away Thursday, February 28, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Louise (Boss) Samples, sisters, Eloise Crowe and Janice Price; brothers, Doug Samples, Joel Samples and Jaril Samples. She is survived by her husband of fifty eight years, Larry Suggs, Dacula, GA; children, Blake Suggs, Dacula, GA, Deree Cofer, Lilburn, GA and Carey Suggs, Dacula, GA; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister and brother in law, Juwan and Don Mayo, Auburn, GA; sisters in law, Faye Samples, Suwanee, GA and Cruzelina Samples, Snellville, GA; brother in law, Doug Price, Canton, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mrs. Suggs was born October 18, 1937 in Buford, GA and received her education in Hall county. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Ivy Creek Baptist Church in Buford, GA.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Dr. Jim Ferguson, Rev. Fred Bedingfield and Rev. Craig Dale officiating. Interment will follow at Sugar Hill Cemetery in Sugar Hill, GA with Rev. Scott Sims officiating at graveside. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
