Callie Ridley

Callie Ridley, age 88, of Dahlonega, GA, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2013.

She was a lifelong resident of Lumpkin County, and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She was a seamstress and ran a cloth shop out of her home for numerous years.

Callie was the daughter of the late Marion Luther and Vesta Berry Gaddis, and was also preceded in death by her husband Edd Ridley; brothers, Odell, Carl and Guy Gaddis; sisters, Lena Ridley and Irene Kay.

She is survived by her sister Cleta Mae Fortner and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Callie are scheduled for 3 PM Sunday, March 3 at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Dahlonega.

Rev. Lyman Caldwell and Rev. Ronald Seabolt will officiate.

Interment will follow in church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega from 6PM until 9PM on Friday, March 1, all day Saturday, March 2, and from 10AM until 2PM on Sunday, March 3.
