David Stanley 'Leo' Buffington

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday February 28, 2013 at Lebanon United Methodist Church for Mr. David Stanley "Leo" Buffington age 57 of Gillsville.

The Rev. Marshall Dale and Rev. Sven Mossinger will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m to 4:00 p.m and 6:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Buffington passed away Sunday February 24, 2013.

Mr. Buffington was born March 14, 1955 in Hall County to the late Rudolph Buffington and Dorothy Wehunt Buffington. He was an electrician and had worked for Escoe Electrical Contractors. He was preceded in death by his Daughter, Jenny Holland, Sister, Donna Buffington, Brother, Dwight Buffington, and Father-in-Law, John Curtis Stow.
Survivors include Wife, Elina Buffington, Son, Jesse Hughes, Daughter and Son-in-Law, Alisha and Larry Scroggs, Sister and Brother-in-Law, Deborah and Doug Stephens, Brothers and Sisters-in-Law, Gerald Anthony and Brenda Buffington, Mike and Sandra Buffington, Doug and Jane Buffington, Mother and Father-in-Law, Flora Lee and Cecil McDonald, Sisters-in-Law, Janice Stow Loggins, Evelyn Stow, Sister-in-Law and Brother-in-Law, Jane and Ricky Dean and 5 Grandchildren.
