Jason Harben

Jason Harben, 36, of Dawsonville passed away Saturday February 23, 2013 at Embracing Hospice following a short illness.

Born August 31, 1976, he was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. Mr. Harben was a partner in Harben Trucking and worked in operations and delivery for Frosty Mountain Water. He was a graduate of Dawson County High School, was a member of Amicalola Baptist Church and enjoyed riding his Harley, hot rods, racing, camping and fishing. Jason was preceded in death by his mother, Janice Rowell Harben; sister, Danielle Harben; grandfathers, Warren Harben, Johnny Stephens; and an aunt, Gayle Beebe.

Surviving are his wife, Jenaline Harben, Dawsonville; father, Danny Harben, Dawsonville; father and mother in law, Larry and Amelia Rugay, The Philippines; grandparents, Maude Harben, Dawsonville, Aline Stephens, Dawsonville, Buddy Rowell, Dawsonville; aunts and uncles, Sammy and Cyndi Harben, Dawsonville, Shirley Ann Ware, Dawsonville, Debbie Rowell, Dawsonville, Sherri and Bob Kelly, Dacula, Valerie and Todd Binning, Cumming, Vanessa and Jim Williams, Lebanon, TN; several cousins and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Monday February 25, 2013 at 2 o'clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Tommy Weldy and Pastor Sammy Harben will officiate. Interment will follow in the Juno Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 until 8 at the funeral home.
