Rena Powers Crow

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Rena Powers Crow, age 101 of Jefferson, Georgia.

Mrs. Crow was born in Franklin County Georgia, was a member of First Baptist Church of Jefferson and was a homemaker. Mrs. Crow along with her late husband, Tom Crow, established Crow's Lake in Jefferson for fishing and recreation and where she remained active in the family business until reaching age ninety-five. Her husband preceded her in death some years ago.

Survivors include a daughter, Hilda Corbett of Jefferson, three sons, William Howard and (Rose Marie) Crow of Nokesville, Virginia, Thomas J. and (Nadine) Crow and Charles M. and (Pam) Crow of Jefferson, and a sister, Reba Johnson of Royston. Thirteen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, February 25, 2013 from the First Baptist Church of Jefferson with Dr. Michael Helms and Kenny Rosser officiating with burial will follow in Woodbine Cemetery, Jefferson. Honored as pallbearers, Billy Crow, Brian Crow, Kevin Crow, Tommy Corbett, Tim Corbett, and Todd Corbett. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, February 24, 2013, 5-8 P.M..
