Frank O'Neal

Mr. Frank O'Neal, age 79, of Buford, GA passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2013.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Christian O'Neal. He is survived by his children, Alan R. O'Neal, Decatur, GA and Ron O'Neal, Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Veronica O'Neal, Tampa, FL, Alexandra O'Neal, Tampa, FL and Alyson Mitchell, Cumming, GA; nieces, Susan Jones, Jackson, GA and Rae Johnston, Jackson, GA; other nieces, nephews and cousins and special longtime companion, Minnie McLeroy.

Mr. O'Neal was born August 31, 1933 in Jackson, GA. He was a graduate of Jackson High School in Jackson, GA and was a veteran serving for four years in the United States Navy. He was retired from W. D. Alexander Co. and Britt's Home Furnishing in Snellville, GA. He was a member of Sugar Hill United Methodist Church and a former member of Sandy Springs Christian Church. He enjoyed living on his houseboat at Holiday Marina at Lake Lanier.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at 3:30 p.m. at Sugar Hill United Methodist Church Chapel, 4600 Nelson Brogdon Blvd., Sugar Hill, GA with Rev. Mari Lane Brooks officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Eagle Ranch Children's Home, P.O. Box 7200, Chestnut Mountain, GA 30502 in memory of Frank O' Neal.
