Diane Mickie Loggins Lee

Diane Mickie Loggins Lee, age 61 of Gillsville, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness.


Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Reverend Bradley Elliott officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 22, 2013 from 4:00-9:00 PM and Saturday, February 23, 2013 from 12:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home.

Ms. Lee was born on September 9, 1951 in Gainesville, GA to the late M.L. Loggins and Dorothy Evans Fowler. She worked in the home health care profession and was a member of Air Line Baptist Church. Ms. Lee was preceded in death by her father, M.L. Loggins; niece, Tara Garrison and nephew, Jeffery Lee Smallwood.

Ms. Lee is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Scoot and Shelly Lee of Gainesville; grandsons, Junior Lee and J.D. Lee of Gainesville; mother and father, Billy and Dorothy Fowler of Gainesville; step-mother, Dot Loggins of Chestnut Mt.; sister, Vicki Loggins of Gainesville; brother, Ricky Loggins of Gainesville; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Keith Garrison of Alto; brother, William Fowler, III of Clermont; sister, Robbie Smallwood of Gainesville; brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and April Fowler of Gainesville; sister, Rena Fowler of Gainesville; sister, Cathy Barnes of Gainesville; sister, Barbara Witherow of Gainesville; sister and brother-in-law, Cathy and George Holleger of Jefferson and a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
