Rev. Stanley Stewart, 63, of Jefferson, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013 following an extended illness.
Rev. Stewart was born April 25, 1949 to the Late Rev. R. B. Stewart and Freddia Sue Stewart. He was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Flowery Branch, and had worked 28 ½ years at Lucent Technologies. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Melody Park.
Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home at 11:00am Friday, February 22, 2013, with Rev. Franklin Grant & Rev. Jeremy Crocker officiating. Interment will follow at Alta Vista Cemetery in Gainesville. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Thursday, February 21, 2013 from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Beatrice "Bea" Stewart; sons, Rodney A. Stewart & Ronald A. Stewart; son & daughter-in-law, Roman A. & Tonya Stewart; sister, Mariea Vickers; brother & sister-in-law, Gary & Martha Stewart; brother, John Stewart; grandchildren, Chaston & Chelsea Stewart & Haydon Stewart; great-grandchildren, Kaitlynn, Julia and Kaedon Stewart; and a host of other friends and relatives.
