Lawrence H. Cook

Lawrence H. "Larry" Cook, age 59 of Cleveland, formerly of Alpharetta, passed away Monday, February 18, 2013 at his residence.

Mr. Cook was born July 1, 1953 in Atlanta, GA to the late G. Philip and Joy Barton Cook. He was a member of Concord Baptist Church where he was very active in their children's program. For thirty years he was a self-employed landscaper.

Survivors include his wife, Karen T. Cook, Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law, Abigail and Logan Winkles, Atlanta; daughter, Sarah Cook, Dawsonville; sister and brother-in-law, Caren Cook Allen and Mark Allen, Alpharetta; grandson, Lawrence Carter Winkles; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Dr. Daulton E. and Tammy Hoffritz; Houston E. and Rosemary E. Todd; nieces and nephews, Hunter, Andrew, Anna, Emilia, Wesley and Sloan, Samantha.

Memorial services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Northside Chapel Funeral Home, Roswell, GA. Dr. Charles Whittaker will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Barrett Funeral Home, Cleveland, GA.
