Eva E. Perdue

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday February 20, 2013 at Pine Grove Baptist Church for Eva E. Perdue of Gillsville. The Rev. Marshall Dale, Rev. Eric Buffington and Rev. Darryl Womack will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with the Rev. Tim Strickland and Rev. Samuel Dale officiating. The body will lie-in-state at the church from 1:30 p.m to 2:00 p.m. The family received friends Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Perdue passed away Monday February 18, 2013.

Mrs. Perdue was born in Jackson County to the late Sam Dale and Hannah Brock Dale. She retired as a Poultry Farmer, following retirement she sold cosmetics for Mary Kay. She was a charter member of Pine Grove Baptist Church and was a member of the Georgia Poultry Growers Association. She was preceded in death by her first Husband J.C. Hubbard, Brother J.C. Dale, Sister Jean Whitehead, 4 infant sisters, Grandchild Wesley Buffington, Great Grandchildren Ian Buffington and Leah Buffington.

Survivors include Husband Donald Perdue, Gillsville, Daughter and Son-in-Law, Wanda and Donald Buffington, Gillsville, Brothers and Sisters-in-Law, Rev. Marshall and Wilma Dale, John and Jeanette Dale, Rev. Samuel and Peggy Dale, all of Gillsville, Sister Nervie Turpin, Gillsville, Sister and Brother-in-Law, Merle and W.F. Sims, Gillsville, Sister Mildred Lewallen, Gillsville, Grandchildren, Rev. Eric and Gina Buffington, Murrayville, 5 Great Grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
