Katie Ruth King Peek

Mrs. Katie Ruth King Peek age 90, of Commerce died Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Northridge Health and Rehab Center.

Mrs. Peek was born in Americus, GA to the late, James Howell and Katie Puckett King. Mrs. Peek was a homemaker and was a member of Danielsville Evangelical Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Peek was also preceded in death by her grandson, Andrew Peek.

Mrs. Peek is survived by her husband, Rev. Edward Turner Peek, Jr. of Commerce; sons, Tyler Peek (Martha) of Irvington, AL and Rev. Tim Peek (Cathy) of Commerce; brother, Bob King of Shreveport, LA.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, Feb. 20 at 11:00 AM from Ila Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Peek officiating with the interment following at Danielsville Evangelical Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 10-11 AM.
