Maggie Paulette Stewart

Mrs. Maggie Paulette Stewart, 55, of Jefferson, GA passed away on Friday, February 15, 2013 following a period of declining health.

Born in Jackson County GA, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Maggie Ruth Martin Pressley. She was retired from the Department of Transportation in Hall County. She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Stewart; brothers, Larry Pressley, Jerry Pressley, Carl Pressley and grandson, Elijah Lilly.

Mrs. Stewart is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Dale Jones of Athens; son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Michele Dale of Suwanee; daughter and son-in-law, Diana and Edwin Lee of Panama City, FL; son, Judson Stewart of Jefferson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Elaine and Ben Martin, Barbara Cochran, Diane and Gene Hewell, Kathy and Doug Norris, Debra and Kenneth Johnson; brothers and sisters-in-law, Sammy and Belle Pressley, Stanley and Rosie Pressley, Ray Pressley, Ronnie and Pam Pressley, Eddie and Angela Pressley; grandchildren, Hannah McCulloch, Katie McCulloch, Maddison Dale, Sheldon Lilly, Peyton Lilly, Lathen Lilly and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 18, 2013 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Rev. Palmer Pace will officiate. Interment will follow in Woodbine Cemetery in Jefferson, GA. The family will receive friends at the Little & Davenport Funeral Home on Sunday, February 17, 2013 from 2:00 p.m.
