James (Jimmy) Wesley Parr, Jr.

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. James "Jimmy" Wesley Parr, Jr. 50, of Colbert, Ga. who passed away Tuesday February 12, 2013.

Mr. Parr was born in Clearwater, Florida a son of the late James Wesley Parr, Sr. and Carolyn Herbert Burghoff of Jefferson, Ga. Mr. Parr was a veteran of the United States Navy. Mr. Parr was owner and operator of Accurate Plumbing and Drain Cleaning in the Athens area for many years. Mr. Parr was of the Southern Baptist Faith.

Survivors include his wife, Anita Parr, Colbert, Ga., sons, James "Jimmy" Wesley Parr III, Hull, Ga., Andrew Parr, Athens, Ga., David Parr, Colbert, Ga., daughter, Melissa Parr, Colbert, Ga., Mother and Step Father, Carolyn and Raymond Burghoff, Jefferson, Ga., Brothers, Rev. Chris Burghoff, Graceville, Fla., sister, Stephanie Gale Lovell, Clewiston, Fla., sister, Kathy Sue Herbert, Powertan, Va., Bother, Victor G. Burghoff, Stanley, Id., brother, Raymond Charles Burghoff, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Aunt, Viola Parr, Arabi, Ga., and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Saturday February 16, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Burghoff officiating. Interment will follow at Woodbine Cemetery in Jefferson, Ga. The family will receive friends on Friday February 15, 2013 at Evans Funeral Home from 6-8 P.M.
