Jerry Ray Davis

Jerry Ray Davis, 58, of Dawsonville passed away on one of his favorite days of the year, Super Bowl Sunday, February 3, 2013.

Born June 8, 1954 in Memphis, TN to the late Howard and Virginia Davis, Mr. Davis was a driver for Celadon Trucking Services. He possessed a great love for his family, friends and driving. Jerry enjoyed his former days as a firefighter and was known for his witty sayings and looking like a member of Z Z Top. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Michael Davis.

Surviving are his daughters, Tina Delvecchio and Jamesina Day; sons, Michael Davis and David Davis; and 11 grandchildren.

Mr. Davis requested no formal services be held for him, but to be remembered in your own hearts.
