Mrs. Bobbie Imogene Dale Clark, 82 of Gainesville died Saturday February 9, 2013 at her residence.
Born in Dawson County, Mrs. Clark had lived in Hall County for most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Carl and Carra Bell Boone Dale. Mrs. Clark worked for the Owen-Osborne Hoisery Mill and also for Potter Brumfield before she retired, after retiring Mrs. Clark worked for Haynes Mailing Service for a number of years also. She was a member of the Sardis Baptist Church.
A wonderful wife and very caring person, Mrs. Clark was loved by all that knew her. She loved working in her yard and also in her flower garden, she was a very hard worker. She touched the lives of many people and will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Carlton Clark, Gainesville; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Louise Clark, Gainesville; sisters-in-law; Bedell Dumas and Nell Dale, both of Gainesville; brother-in-law, Randall Gailey, Gainesville; a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.
Mrs. Clark is preceded in death by her sisters, Cleo Dale Little, Pauline Walker, Gladys Phagan, Louise Skelton, Irene Gailey; brothers, Hoyt Dale and Joe Dale.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday February 12, 2013 in the Little & Davenport Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Heyward Clark will officiate. Entombment will follow in the Lakeside Mausoleum at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday February 11, 2013 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
