Maggie Brewer Wiley

Mrs. Maggie Brewer Wiley, age 100, of Lula, passed away Friday, February 8, 2013 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Mrs. Wiley was born in Habersham County the daughter of the late William and Lieuvenia Jenkins Brewer. She lived most of her life in Hall County, was a homemaker and member of Holly Springs Baptist Church. Mrs. Wiley was preceded in death by her husband, John Wiley, sons, Bethel Wiley, J.B. Wiley, Gene Wiley and daughter in law, Elaine Wiley. Mrs. Wiley was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother who will be missed. She was a good neighbor to all.

Survivors include her sons and daughters in law, Thermon and Mable Wiley, Cleveland, Bud and Yvonne Wiley, Alto, and Herman and Glenda Wiley, Cornelia; sons, Robert Leon Wiley, and James Wiley, both of Lula; daughters in law, Jenny Wiley, Lula, and Lucy Wiley Waldon, Alto; 17 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 14 great-great grandchildren; special niece, Geraldine Brown and special friend, Carl Waldon.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday February 11, 2013 at Holly Springs Baptist Church. The Rev. Farrell Presley, the Rev. Raymond Payne and the Rev. Gary Wiley will officiate. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Saturday and 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
