Mrs. Phyllis Ann Marsingill Hansard, age 65, of Buford, GA passed away Thursday, February 7, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Lois Marsingill.
She is survived by her husband of forty-three years, George A. Hansard, Buford, GA, daughter, Lisa A. Hansard, Buford, GA; grandson, Evan M. Hansard, Buford, GA; sisters and brothers in law, Hazel M. Pirkle, Buford, GA, Frances and Joe Tatum, Bainbridge, GA and Norma and Stanley Orr, Greenville, SC; brothers and sisters in law Larry and Willie Nell Marsingill, Sugar Hill, GA and David and Joann Marsingill, Buford, GA; special friends, Rev. Edward and Rose Davenport, Monroe, GA, Kenneth and Martha Tucker, Buford, GA and Mark and Dell Lord, Buford, GA; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of church friends and friends.
Mrs. Hansard was born February 23, 1947 in Buford, GA. She was a 1965 graduate of Buford High School. She was a secretary for Buford Church of God for the past twenty-six years. She worked for North Georgia Church of God State Office for nineteen years before her career with Buford Church of God. She was a life long active member of the Buford Church of God and a member of the Primetimer Senior Group at the church.
Funeral service will be held Monday, February 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Buford Church of God with Rev. Lamar Hansard, Rev Edward Davenport and Pastor Joey Grizzle officiating.
Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA with Rev. Scott Crowe officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
