Marvin Dean Massey, Jr

Mr. Marvin Dean Massey, Jr. age 59 of Alto died Wednesday, February 06, 2013 at Athens Regional Medical Center. Mr. Massey was born in Commerce to the late, Marvin Dean and Betty Jane Crane Massey, Sr. Mr. Massey was a US Navy Veteran and was in commercial construction.

Mr. Massey is survived by his wife, Theresa Caudell Massey of Alto; step-son, Chuck Wilkes of Cumming; step-daughter, Brandy Ward of Athens; brother, Boyd Massey of Carnesville; sisters, Peggy Peters of Watkinsville, Linda Blalock of Danielsville, and Sue Chastain of Royston; four step grandchildren.

Memorial service will be Saturday, Feb. 9 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Wood and Rev. William Bray officiating with the interment following at Bethany Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday night at the funeral home from 6-8 PM.
