Ira D. Forrester

Funeral service will be held for, Ira D. Forrester,Sr. age 88 of Clermont, will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, at Holly Springs Baptist Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The Rev. Charles Buice and Rev. Gerald Richards will officiate.
Visitation will be Tuesday Feb.5, 2013 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Forrester died Monday Feb. 4, 2013 at a private nursing home. He was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church and had served in the U.S. Army and was a retired boat builder. He is survived by his sons, Ira Forrester, Jr. and Mike Forrester, two sisters, Braganza Pitchford and Polly Bowers, four Grandchildren and seven Great-Grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hall County Senior Citizens Center.
